Isabela Santos

About Me

Isabela Santos is a Toronto based artist born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is currentlyworking towards a Bachelor degree in fine arts with a major in Photography at OCADUniversity where she was granted on-the-spot acceptance to the Fine Arts program. 

She has been accepted to do a semester at L’École Superieure des Beaux Artsin Paris, France and is set to go in the Fall of 2022. She has travelled throughout Southand North America, as well as parts of Europe and prioritizes getting to know various cultures places around the world within her practice. 

With a focus in street photography and portrait photography, Isabela finds she is most passionate about capturing moments of real life. Her practice is an outlet for her to ground herself with reality and connect to the world around her. Her goal is to share with others the little moments and details of the world around us that may be ignored through the buzz of our everyday lives.
